A friend just gave us a start, and here's the comment my husband made:
"When I was single some girls gave us some of that. We smelled inside the bag and knew it was rancid, though, so we threw it away. We didn't think it was very friendly."
If you've ever done Amish friendship bread, you know why this is so funny!
